What is my legacy to leave behind? It comes down to more. More. It’s a vague word, and it means something different for everyone. At the same time, it’s universal. I know theres more out there for me. I know theres more out there for you. I know theres more out there for each and every one of us. And I know that we are all inspired, humbled, and frightened by that all at the same time. More is big. More is scary. More almost always involves the unknown. This is where I come in my mark, my legacy, the thing that I want to leave behind when I pass on from this world is the idea that we are all capable of amazing lives. Big, juicy, fantastically amazeballs lives that we only dream about. (I suspect that Michelle might say that she has a similar mark to leave behind.) The kinds of lives that the mere thought of gets our pulses racing. The kinds of lives that we think might only be available to other people. The kinds of lives that get us thinking, what if, if only, and one day maybe. The kinds of lives that we can start living today. Now. The kinds of lives that we get to choose. And own. And demand for ourselves. This is what I have to leave behind: to teach YOU that you are capable of more than youve even dreamed. That you can find magic in the every day. That you can live The Life that youve always thought might be just out of reach. And then to light a fire big enough under you so that you start demanding an amazing life for yourself. And refuse to settle for anything less. (And then it spreads â€" you live your biggest, most sparkly life and then other people get inspired and doing it for themselves. Ripple effect, y’all.
